Tristate Outdoors – Ohio River Blue Catfish

Tristate Outdoors takes you on a mid-summer blue cat fishing trip on the Ohio River with Captain Paul Willett of Camo Fish Guide Service. We fished the tail waters of Newburgh Lock and Dam. Caught many blue cats, a couple channel cats and a striped bass. Visit camofishguideservice.com for more information about Capt Paul and his Ohio River charter fishing guide service.

Can you fit two more in the boat? Interested in a guide for myself and my dad. We are local to the area. Contact me if interested.

I replied to your website……asked for a guided trip and have had no response. You can certainly catch em, but, as a guide its been 30 days and you have been non-responsive? The show is good but in my opinion you are “not” open for business! If you have missed the boat or I, I would love a guided trip in the next 60 days?

@snaketunaWW2 I seen he lets people keep fish 10 pound and under. Everything over 10 pound is to be released. If your wanting a catfish mount get a reproduction. My taxidermist told me skin mounts only last a few years the skin keeps drying out and it looks bad. He wouldn’t even do a catfish skin mount for me.

  23. gizmotwadlebutt says:

@TheGunny1980 I caught several Channels and blues 3 and 4 inches long in my life. Alot of them foul hooked, they could not even take the hook. Bad thing is there the ones that will stick you very easy.

  24. BrianWarner1996 says:

Once I caught a catfish that weighed about 5 lbs. but by the time I got it in the boat it “surprised me”. I guess it was “growing” the whole time I was reeling because it gained about 40 lbs. I sure was a “hog” or “chunk” or “lunker” or any of those 3 misspelled. HOOO WEEEEE!
